I am proud to be a part of the amazing FLOWproject with „segment 19 – FLUME“, a composition with the resonances of a fish-pass at the Lech for tube, accordion and sine-tone.
Flow is presented actually at the EGU general assembly in Vienna, the biggest geoscience conference in Europe.
Flow combines science, sound, and imagery to bring to life the story of the river Lech, which flows through Austria and Germany, as an example representing all rivers, all over the world.
Researchers at the University of Padua and the University of Würzburg collected satellite images, research, photography and field recordings from the entire length of the river, and asked artists to reimagine the life of the river through sound.
Working with the University of Padova and the University of Würzburg, Flow tells the story of a river through sound, from its source to its end. Flow is hosted by the famous „Cities and memory“, the british soundart project around field recordings, memories and the sound of places allover planet earth.

Klanginstallation „everyday sounds“ vom 19. April bis 12. Mai im Krameramtshaus / Studierendenprojekt ist Teil des Programms POETRY
Münster (SMS) Wie klingt Münster? Die Klanginstallation „everyday sounds“ lädt vom 19. April bis 12. Mai dazu ein, die unverwechselbaren alltäglichen Klänge Münsters auf neue Weise zu erleben. Auf Einladung des städtischen Kulturamtes haben die Klang- und Medienkünstlerin Anja Kreysing, die Literaturwissenschaftlerin Prof. Britta Herrmann und eine Gruppe Studierender der Universität Münster das Klangbild der Stadt erforscht. Nun präsentieren sie die Ergebnisse in einer Klanginstallation im Haus der Niederlande im Krameramtshaus.
Sechs Studierende des Germanistischen Instituts haben in einem Workshop Töne und Geräusche Münsters erkundet. Sie haben literaturwissenschaftliche Theorie und künstlerische Feldforschung verzahnt und sind der Frage nachgegangen, wie Münsters Alltag klingt. Unter Leitung von Britta Herrmann und Anja Kreysing haben sie aus fieldrecordings (engl. Feldaufnahmen) und Werken internationaler Gäste des Lyriktreffens Münster Klanglandschaften geschaffen.
Der Workshop und die Installation sind Teil der Veranstaltungsreihe POETRY, die noch bis zum 12. Mai im Vorfeld des Lyriktreffens Münster (10. bis 13. Mai) stattfindet. Ein Begleitprogramm während des Lyriktreffens bietet weitere Einblicke in die Arbeit der Studierenden.
Bürgermeister Klaus Rosenau eröffnet die Ausstellung im Krameramtshaus am Donnerstag, 18. April, um 18 Uhr. Die Studentinnen Miriam Feldmann und Julia Rosin geben eine Einführung in die Klanginstallation. Anja Kreysing, Musiker Helmut Buntjer und Autor Andreas Weber stimmen mit einem musikalisch-poetischen Beitrag auf die Installation ein. Die Ausstellung ist montags bis freitags von 12 bis 18 Uhr sowie samstags, sonntags und feiertags von 10 bis 16 Uhr geöffnet. Der Eintritt ist frei.
